RDN, Cert. Rad
GDC No. 155484
I started my dental nursing career back in 2002 and found my passion for dentistry and patient care. After 2 years of study, I became a qualified dental nurse in 2007. Thereafter I continued to extend my knowledge and capabilities through the years and obtained my dental nursing radiography certificate in 2009 through Keele University.
I have extensive knowledge and understanding of complex dental treatment needs and a special interest in nursing for implantology and oral surgery. In my 16 years of dental nursing I had the pleasure of working in different environments including a dental sedation clinic as implant coordinator and head of recovery for 5 years. In this time, I gained a lot of experience with patient management of the anxious patient, children and vulnerable adults.
I still thrive to learn and am continually looking to expand my knowledge and competence skill set, but most importantly I love to share this knowledge with others and to help develop team members with their career and personal life goals.
I am a loving mother of two beautiful boys and my favourite past time must be film night Friday with my princes (……and maybe a glass of wine)!
