During a hygiene visit we will inspect your teeth and gums, give you tailored tips for effective brushing and flossing and answer any questions about your homecare routine.
To clean your teeth, we will gently remove plaque and calculus and polish them to a silky finish. If we find that you have early-stage gum disease (gingivitis) or advanced gum disease (periodontitis), we may recommend periodontal therapy.
Regular hygiene visits help prevent gum disease and tooth loss, and leave you with a brighter smile and fresher breath. Furthermore, studies show there has been a proven link between poor oral hygiene and more serious diseases such as heart disease.
Our hygienist works on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and alternate Mondays and Saturdays.
