Facial Aesthetics

Wrinkles are an inevitable part of the ageing process and can also be accelerated by exposure to the sun, excessive stress, diet, and weight loss. These wrinkles can be ‘static’ – caused by the gradual loss of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, or ‘dynamic’ – created by repeated facial muscle movements, such as laughing and frowning. However, our non-surgical facial treatments help to eliminate these lines and plump up areas of lost elasticity.

Benefits:

  • Non-surgical option
  • Appearance enhancing
  • Confidence boosting
  • Quick, simple procedure
  • Lasting results

Anti-wrinkle injections

After a numbing cream has been applied, an extremely fine needle is used to precisely deliver small amounts of a purified protein. These injections relax specific muscles to stop the skin from creasing and are an ideal treatment for dynamic wrinkles, particularly in the upper part of the face. They can be used to treat the following:

  • Forehead lines
  • Frown lines
  • Vertical lip lines
  • Crow’s feet

Treatment takes around 10-15 minutes and effects will show in a couple of days. The number of injections will depend on the area being treated and, as these are precisely targeted, they produce natural looking results. There is also no need to take any time out to recover after the procedure.

Dermal fillers

Dermal fillers can enhance skin by smoothing lines and plumping up areas of lost elasticity. They can be used to achieve a variety of rejuvenating results including:

  • Contouring the cheeks and chin
  • Filling deep lines, such as those that run from the nose to the mouth
  • Correcting acne or chicken pox scars
  • Restoring a youthful fullness and definition to lips

A numbing cream is applied to minimise any discomfort and tiny amounts of the safe, gel-like filler are injected with an ultra-fine needle into the areas requiring treatment. There is no need for a recovery period and results are instant, lasting for several months.

Skin Peels

Chemical skin peels improve the appearance and texture of your skin by removing its damaged outer layers and stimulating the regenerative process. They can also reduce the appearance of fine surface lines and wrinkles, acne scars, superficial blemishes and pigment problems; all imperfections that can get in the way of you feeling your most confident, vibrant self.

Key Benefits:

  • Improves the appearance and texture of your skin
  • Reduces the appearance of fine surface lines and wrinkles
  • Reduces the effects of smoking and sun exposure
  • Individually tailored to your needs
  • Zero down time. Any slight redness of the skin, post-treatment, can be concealed with mineral make-up

A chemical skin peel works by removing old and dead skin cells on the surface of the skin. There are three types of chemical skin peel:

1. Superficial chemical peel
2. Medium chemical peel
3. Deep chemical peel

With all types of peel you may need to use specified home care products, before your treatment. These products help to prepare your skin and ensure that it is in optimum condition prior to your peel. It’s worth nothing that you may also be required to use specified, follow-up, home care products, post peel. Your before and after care will be discussed fully with you at your initial consultation.

You will be asked to attend a full consultation, at which point you will undergo a comprehensive skin analysis session and, of course, have the opportunity to discuss your treatment options.

How many treatments will I need?

We assess all of our patients individually and agree their most optimal care package to give them the results that they are looking for.
We recommend an appropriate course of treatments spaced out at two-to-four weekly intervals. Once we have achieved the desired results, we will recommend an appropriate after care program to maintain the results with a follow-up chemical skin peel, every three to four months.
