Cosmetic Bonding
A chip, jagged edge, discoloured filling or a gap between front teeth can affect your smile.
In these cases, a very simple procedure, using cosmetic bonding or contouring, can make a dramatic improvement.
Cosmetic bonding involves matching tooth-coloured resin to the area that requires additional structure. We cure the resin with blue light spectrum and then sculpt it to blend with the existing tooth structure. After a final polish, the tooth will look as good as new. This treatment is a less costly, less invasive and easier to repair alternative to having veneers.
Contouring involves altering the tooth structure (mainly the enamel) to create smooth edges or lines. This is useful for minor chips or rough edges and creates a smooth, healthy appearance.
